‘Nowhere Boy’ is a British movie about the teenage years of John Lennon. The movie is based on the book, ‘Imagine This: Growing up with My Brother John Lennon’ by Julia Baird who is Lennon’s half-sister. The movie shows how his relationship with his estranged mother & guardian Aunt had a profound influence on his adolescence. The movie also talks about the formative days of ‘The Beatles’ (originally called ‘The Quarrymen’) & his friendship with Paul McCartney.

The movie stars Aaron Johnson, Thomas Sangster, Anne-Marie Duff & Kirsten Scott Thomas.
