‘The Ghost Writer’ is a political thriller based on the Robert Harris novel ‘The Ghost’ which tells the story of a young ghost-writer who’s contracted to write the memoirs of an Ex-British Prime Minister & learns of too many secrets for his own good & inturn puts his own life in jeopardy.

The movie is directed by Roman Polanksi who was arrested before post-production on the movie could begin. He however completed the editing the editing while being under house arrest.

The movie stars Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan, Olivia Wiliams, Timothy Hutton, Kim Cattrall, Tom Wilkinson, James Belushi & Eli Wallach. The movie will see a limited release in the U.S. on the 19th of February 2010.
