Anyone remember the 80’s flick Midnight Run starring Robert De Niro & Charles Grodin? Well probably if you replaced the Charles Grodin character with a female lead & added some romantic comedy elements to it then probably The Bounty Hunter is what you’d get.
Gerad Butler is a bounty hunter whose latest assignment is to find & bring in his missing ex-wife played by Jennifer Aniston. She’s a journalist on the run due to some murder cover-up she had unearthed. So what starts out as an uncomfortable reunion of sorts soon turns into a rediscovery of the romantic chemistry the two shared while they try to evade the bad guys out to kill them. Strongly evokes memories of Midnight Run minus the falling in love part.
The movie releases on the 19th of March 2010.
