Plot: Based on the book, ‘The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud’ by Ben Sherwood that came out in 2005. Charlie (Zac Efron) makes his kid brother a promise that he’d practice baseball with him everyday before he leaves for college. Unfortunately they are involved in a car accident that leaves Charlie’s brother dead. Charlie however soon starts to see his brother’s ghost & reminded of his promise starts to help him out. With Charlie’s life moving ahead how long can he hold on to the past & not forgive himself for his brother’s death.
Our Two Cents: Looks definitely like a tear-jerker in the most manipulative way possible.
How eager am I to watch it? Hmmm, maybe if our paths cross, when I have to review it.
