The first promo for Aamir Khan’s latest, Ghajini is out. Check it out here. Ghajini Finally after many a moon, we have a sneak preview of Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated 2008 Hindi remake of the 2005 Tamil movie by the same name. The original Tamil movie was a massive box office hit & did well critically too. The movie was an essentially a Kollywood-‘ised’ remake of Christopher Nolan’s excellent thriller Memento (2000). Now Aamir khan hopes to repeat the movie’s success & has even roped into the director (A.R. Murugadoss) & one of the leading ladies (Asin) from the original Tamil movie. Ghajini has the protagonist seeking revenge on those who killed his wife but he’s also suffering from short term memory loss at the same time. He needs the help of means to keep reminding him what information he has collected & what he needs to do incase he forgets due to his medical condition. Asin plays his Aamir Khan’s wife in the movie & Jiah Khan plays a psychology student who helps him track down the killer.

For obvious reasons since it is an Aamir Khan film, the movie has tremendous buzz surrounding it. It’s probably the most anticipated Bollywood release of 2008. The promo looks visually appealing & the music sounds catchy too. But as in the case of most Hindi trailers barely gives anything away about the plot. Hoping the next proper full length trailer would do that.
