Ram Gopal Varma is back with the sequel to 2008’s unexpected horror hit ‘Phoonk’, creatively titled ‘Phoonk 2’. I have to confess that I still haven’t seen the original film & have heard extreme reactions about it from people, either it was absolutely loved or absolutely hated.
The movie apparently picks up from where the first one left off & follows the family to another location, where even though everything seems normal it looks like evil has followed them there too.
The movie isn’t directed by Ram Gopal Varma this time around but instead by Milind Gadagkar who wrote the story & screenplay for the original. The kid, Ahsaas Channa is back in the role of the possessed girl & so are a few other actors from Phoonk.
Is it just me or does the trailer make the movie look much like 2004’s ‘Vaastu Shastra’?
