Shreyas Talpade stars in this horror flick. Check out the trailer.

This shouldn’t be confused with the Adam Sandler comedy but rather anyone who’s seen the Thai horror flick ‘Shutter’ or it’s inferior American remake will immediately make the connection between the trio. The last Thai horror movie Bollywood pillaged was ‘The Eye’ which was made into the Urmila Matondkar starrer ‘Naina’. This time too they seem to have shamelessly copied unless they have secured the rights which they don’t seem to acknowledge anywhere.

Shreyas Talpade plays a photographer who’s camera starts acting weird & his photographs seem to show ghostly apparitions which he can’t explain. The entire mystery leads him to a dark past involving a car accident which he’d like to forget.

If I compare just the trailers of the Thai & the Indian versions, the makers of ‘Click’ have gone to extent of ripping off even hairstyles from the original. At least the Americans didn’t give the protagonist ridiculous looking long hair.

The movie releases on the 15th of January 2010.
