Paresh Rawal as the guest from hell. Watch the trailer!

‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?’ (ATKJ for future reference) is a comedy produced by the Indian division of Warner Brothers whose last movie was Akshay Kumar’s snooze-fest ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ (Why do Warner Bros. Hindi movies have such long names?) The trailer at least gives me hope for ATKJ & the least I can expect from it is that it’d be better than ‘Chandni Chowk to China’.

Ajay Devgan & Konkona Sen Sharma are a happily married couple living in the city until one day some far-off relative of Devgan’s played by Paresh Rawal turns up at their door step & gets too comfy for anybody’s but his own good bringing about more than a few problems for the couple.

Even though the trailer had a few funny moments I couldn’t help but notice the similarity content & tone to the Own Wilson-Kate Hudson starrer ‘You, Me & Dupree’ (2006) & the Ben Stiller-Drew Barrymore starrer ‘Duplex’ (2003). Only the final product will help clear out those doubts. Till then this looks like a worthy watch.

The movie releases on the 26th of February 2010.
