"Fantastic" trailers for the animated adaptation of Roald Dahl's book.

If you haven’t seen a Wes Anderson film yet you have surely missed out on something very different in your life & the very same goes for a Roald Dahl book, anyone who’s not read one when they were a kid have had an incomplete childhood. Fantastic Mr. Fox was always one of my favorite books growing up & when I heard Wes Anderson was making an animated adaptation of the book I couldn’t have been happier, the dry humor in Dahl’s book would be perfectly brought out by Anderson, but what I was saw in the trailers has made me even more excited to watch this adaptation.

The plot involves the efforts of Mr. Fox in protecting his family from three devious farmers who want to destroy his habitat due to his habit of stealing their poultry & apple cider. The movie adds quite a few changes to the plot of the book but it looks like something that would fit in well with the scheme of things overall.  

The animation is the stop-motion type & has the usual cast which comprises a Wes Anderson movie. The actors providing lending their voices are George Clooney, Bill Murray, Meryl Streep, Owen Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Jason Schwartzman & Michael Gambon.  The movie released in the U.S. on the 13th of November 2009.
